I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease 16 years ago and have been Vegan for about 7 years. I’m a jewellery maker and insect photographer who has a passion for food, nutrition and health.
This is not a place for judgment, your food and lifestyle choices are yours to make. This is a place for me to share the foods I eat and lifestyle choices I make in the hopes it will encourage others to make more mindful choices.
Life is busy these days. We live in a fast paced world where everyone needs things NOW! We’re eating fast food on the go that’s full of so many nasty chemicals, additives and sugars and rarely have time to sit down and really appreciate what we are eating.
The purpose of this blog is to encourage others to set aside time for cooking meals and taking time to eat and enjoy them. To form a healthier relationship with food and start to pay more attention to what we are putting in our mouths. And of course, to try and inspire others to add more plant based meals to their life because it’s better for you, the animals and the planet. It isn’t about being perfect (no one is). It’s just about making small changes that stick.
This blog is new so please bear with me, but I will be adding weekly recipes and tips on meal prep too for those of us with busy lives.
